Communications Consent
Harbor Relief is a consumer matching and referral service. This page explains the types of communications that may occur when you voluntarily provide your contact information through Harbor Relief or contact Harbor Relief by telephone.
The specific consent language presented to you when you submit your information governs the scope of any consent you provide.
When you affirmatively provide consent through a form, checkbox, button or other clear action, you may authorize Harbor Relief and the participating providers identified in or linked from that consent to contact you regarding debt related products, services and options.
Depending on the consent presented at the time of submission, communications may include:
• Telephone calls
• SMS or text messages
• Calls made using automated dialing technology
• Prerecorded voice messages
• Artificial voice messages
• Other automated communications permitted by applicable law
Your consent applies only to the telephone number or numbers you voluntarily provide and to the communications described in the consent presented to you.
Consent Is Optional
Providing consent to receive marketing calls or text messages is not required as a condition of using the Harbor Relief website, receiving general information from Harbor Relief, or purchasing or using a product or service from a participating provider.
Submitting information through Harbor Relief does not enroll you in a debt program, constitute a loan application, or guarantee eligibility or approval.
Who May Contact You
Depending on the consent you provide, you may receive communications from Harbor Relief and participating third party providers that may offer products or services relevant to your situation.
The consent language shown at the time you submit your information may identify specific participating providers or provide access to information identifying the parties authorized to contact you.
Harbor Relief may also use service providers to help operate its communications, technology, call routing and lead management systems.
Participating providers are independent third parties and are responsible for their own communications and compliance with applicable law.
Revoking Your Consent
You may revoke consent to receive communications at any time using any reasonable method that clearly communicates your desire to stop receiving them.
Depending on the type of communication, you may:
• Reply STOP to a text message
• Tell a caller that you no longer wish to receive calls
• Follow any opt out instructions provided in a communication
• Contact Harbor Relief through our Contact page
Harbor Relief and participating providers are expected to honor valid revocation and Do Not Call requests as required by applicable law.
Revoking your consent does not affect the lawfulness of communications made before your revocation was received and processed.
Text Messages
If you consent to receive text messages, message frequency may vary.
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan.
You may reply STOP to opt out of further marketing text messages. You may reply HELP for additional information where that functionality is available.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using any product or service.
Consumer Initiated Inbound Calls
When you call a telephone number displayed by Harbor Relief, you are initiating communication with Harbor Relief.
During the call, Harbor Relief may ask questions about your debt and financial situation to better understand what options may be relevant.
When there may be a potential match, your call may be routed or transferred to a participating third party provider that can review your situation and explain available options.
Calling Harbor Relief does not by itself enroll you in a program or constitute a loan application.
Initiating an inbound call also does not by itself authorize future marketing calls or text messages beyond communications you separately consent to receive or communications otherwise permitted by law.
Call Monitoring and Recording
Telephone calls involving Harbor Relief may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, compliance, fraud prevention and call routing purposes where permitted by applicable law.
When notice or consent to recording is required by law, appropriate notice or consent will be provided.
Automated and Artificial Voice Technology
Harbor Relief may use automated technology or artificial voice technology to help answer, qualify or route certain consumer initiated calls.
When such technology is used, Harbor Relief will provide any notices or disclosures required by applicable law.
Use of automated technology does not change your right to request that communications stop or your right to decline to continue with a participating provider.

Harbor Relief and its service providers may maintain records relating to communications consent, including information such as the date and time consent was provided, the telephone number submitted, the webpage or form used, the consent language displayed and technical information associated with the submission. These records may be maintained for compliance, auditing, fraud prevention and dispute resolution purposes.
